Hello, name is Zach,
I’m a queer, immigrant photographer living in LA.
My first roll of film at 12 years old was 24 images of a tree next to a Chevron gas station in
Venice beach, with my mom’s old Pentax. I was in love. My mom thought I was wasting film.
Perspective.
Having created several photo series, I’ve traveled to every single US state for the past 8
years working for Ides of Gender, a photo series celebrating trans and nonbinary voices,
where I’ve had the privilege of interviewing and photographing over 700 folx (so far) —
highlighting the community’s expansiveness by consciously focusing on its diversity.
Representation matters!
Thank you for checking out my work!
