Hello, name is Zach,

I’m a queer, Middle-Eastern photographer living in LA.

My first roll of film at 12 years old was 24 images of a

tree next to a Chevron gas station in Venice beach

with my mom’s old Pentax. I was in love. My mom

thought I was wasting film. Perspective. 

Having worked on several photo series over the years,

I’ve been traveling around the US since September 2017

working on Ides of Gender, a photo-essay honoring the

beauty and diversity that is the trans community. From the

start, representation and visibility have been imperative.
